Created by his children and grandchildren, Rothchilds Coffee & Kitchen is a celebration and a dedication to the memory of Walter Roth. Our patriarch was a much loved and well-known personality in Great Neck, and his love of family was only matched by his love of great food.

The family has been rooted in Great Neck since the 1960s, and Rothchilds Coffee & Kitchen has been designed as a neighborhood restaurant, with the décor and menu inspired by the diverse and vibrant community of Great Neck and the surrounding towns. The intimate and casual atmosphere serves as a gathering place to celebrate food, friends, family, and community.

Rothchilds’ menu offers a modern interpretation of our collective Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, and American background. Our healthful interpretation of traditional dishes reflects our commitment to using only the freshest ingredients that are locally sourced whenever possible. From the morning coffee through the last nighttime dessert, we are serious about bringing joy through our food, which is vibrant and bold yet familiar and comforting. 

Brothers Shir and Daniel, descendants of a well-known Jerusalem restaurateur family, are general manager and chef respectively, and together they bring a unique and exciting style honed by many years of experience plying their trades in top restaurants and hotels in Israel and the USA.
